I finished painting the living room. The color is warmer and goes with my new couch. I also got rid of the ugly blinds and will get a slipcover for my chair. It’s going to be a much more welcoming room for me and guests.

I’ve made some small changes lately that worked well – moved one rug to the basement, bought a new shower curtain, rearranged some small furniture. This week I picked up the special order fabric for my dining chairs, I hope to get them recovered over the next few weeks. Next weekend I pick up some of my grandmother’s furniture so I’ll have a real dining table and some nicer bureaus.
