become an actress

im sending out a letter to a local theater company monday to request for information on the classes they offer and also a sign up form! no one in my life knows about my interest in acting and im planning on keeping it that way until i feel comfortable telling them. my parents still think im moving to L.A. next year to go to fashion school but im not. i’ve decided to go to NYC b4 L.A. b/c EVERYBODY goes to LA to become an actress or actor so i know the competition will be CrAZy so i wanna make sure im ready and confident before i go straight to L.A.! i feel like if i start acting classes at a local theater company in michigan then move to acting classes to NYC and THEN L.A. it’ll be better than just jumping straight to L.A. I think if you want something big you gotta really work your ass off for it and prepare like crazy so thats what im doing.
