I’ve lost a few pounds, I’m sure … just not enough to brave the scales yet :)
So I went to the grocery store yesterday, and my goal was to buy healthy “snacks”. I always cook really healthy meals, and I choose heathly selections when dining out (most of the time) ... my problem comes from snacking. I don’t even buy junkfood for the house! Nothing! I have an office job where I sit on my butt all day, and people around me are constantly treating me to “goodies” ... I snack because I’m bored and I snack when I’m stressed …these two categories encompass about 90% of my conscious day. And I’m a sucker for sweets …
So in addition to my menu of seeds, grass and skim milk, I have added an array of healthy, yummy snacks: tangerines, yummy flavors of low fat yogurt, all natural fruit sorbet, low fat sugar free chocolate shakes, and those ‘100 calorie pack’ oreo cookies from nabisco …
To achieve my goal by my birthday I have to lose about 1 1/2 to 2 lbs a week … I lost 4 on week one!

I just feel gerally blah and there’s really no excuse for it. My new diet consists of seeds, grass, and skim milk (the commercials sucked me into the milk thing). MY GOAL: is to lose 50 pounds in the next 30 weeks, so I can feel fabulous for my birthday!!
