Found homes for various wedding gifts and other miscellaneous items that we haven’t and don’t use. Am sad to part with many of those things, but if we haven’t used them in 3 to 6 years, I figure we don’t need to keep them. For the more meaningful pieces, I made sure people who took them would put them to good use. Crystal vases. Crystal decanter. Glasses. Container. Silk floral arrangement. Matching pitcher and basin. A couple of George Foreman grills. Other stuff.

Well, I’ve been filling the trash bin in the last three or four days, and now our trash bin is full! I’ve filled it with boxes we don’t need to keep, useless junk, old papers, etc. And, I’m forming a pile of stuff to take to the good will (actually a friend has volunteered to take it to the good will, along with her stuff). the home is a tad less cluttered! still work to do, though.

The other day, I got rid of several wedding magazines, magazines I’ve had for over four years. Thought perhaps I might share them with my children some day (don’t have any yet, but one is coming very soon!). Really, it’s just clutter taking up space. Away they went!
