Got him when he was just a little kitten and he survived until he was just over 17 years old. Had to put him down about a month after our first daughter was born. Still miss our beloved cat.

I love, love, love my babies and babies in general, but I cannot spend my entire day talking about baby related stuff. Would make me totally crazy.
After having experienced a C-section (an emergency C-section) and a VBAC, I definitely prefer a vaginal birth. Didn’t have any pain medication for the vaginal birth, and went from 4 cm to complete within 20 minutes. Had our daughter within 25 minutes of arriving at L&D. Still prefer a vaginal birth any day.
There are two of us, siblings in the family, and I’m the younger one. We’re two years and eleven days apart.
I haven’t played tetris in years. A week or so ago, I noticed on my sister’s facebook page that she’s been playing tetris in a tournament amongst friends. I decided I had to play, too. Kept playing until I beat my sister. That’s not exactly true. I’ve kept going. Aaaaaaaaaccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkk. I’ve got to stop playing!!!
we had some friends over this past weekend, and after dinner we were going to play games. i told the daughter of the couple that came over that we had three games: rummikub, skipbo, and scrabble. i asked my husband if he could think of any other games we might have. he announced that of course we have more; i love to play games. we have apples to apples, othello . . . boggle.
For a woman in general, this is going to sound strange, but I’d rather be cold than hot. I can’t stand living in areas that have hot climates. I’m living in such a place now. It’s mid-90’s to lower 100’s three quarters of the year. Yuck.
Usually, I get hot very, VERY easily.
Lots of people find musicals tedious, because people break out into song very frequently. I myself have loved musicals since high school. Have seen “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Les Miserables,” “Evita,” “Woman in White,” “Cats,” “Miss Saigon,” “Victor/Victoria,” “Jekyll & Hyde.” Would love to see more!
I can’t count the number of photographs I’ve taken to date. Too many to count, much to my parents chagrin. Luckily, I don’t live under their roof, and they have no idea how many I have printed. For the longest time, I refused to convert from film to digital. And, I’m still not a complete convert. Given time and no financial constraints, I prefer to take black and white on film, using a manual camera. Love, love, love taking photographs. Would love to travel the world, taking photographs, some day, some day.
my sister’s still doing the same, too! and our daughters are only nine days apart. on our recent trip to tennessee, in may, we discovered that our parents are chart people. my dad keeps track of the odometer reading when he gets gas; my mom writes down when she gives my dad a hair cut, both of them keep a chart of their blood pressure. the list goes on . . .
