Save $10,000

Well, I’ve been broke, so I haven’t put shit into my account, but I did rack up 3 cents interest. Rockafella ain’t got nothin on me.

ok, i did my research using bankrate.com and emoneymarket.com and on Friday I opened an online money market savings account. yay! well, so i only put in $5 so far, but hey, its something…once i save enough on there, then i think i’ll try to put it into a higher interest CD…

i was looking at Capitalone.com yesterday and i noticed they have money markets available on there. so i read thru all the info on it and i’m thinking about starting one. i should probably see if my bank offers that. they might have a better deal. hmmm…

on the upside, i have saved like 7 or 800 in my 401K thru my current job. it would be more if my crappy company matched it. oh well, it’s a start though

I should also note that as of today, I’ve saved zero dollars. BUT it’s a start!

I should open a seperate savings account from my other accounts.
