plan our wedding

It’s been almost a week since we got married, so I have to say this goal is a success! :)
Not quite everything went as envisioned, but nothing awful happened and the day was extremely beautiful and happy!

We’re getting close and wrapping up the final details with our consultants. We’re close to being on budget. Very close. We’ll have to see how some permits pan out before seeing the final final numbers.

Next step will be to gather every bit together necessary for the trip as well as confirming all of our decisions!

:) I have to say, this probably could have been more stressful. We didn’t have nearly the number of decisions to make, just because we never really asked for more options than were provided to us.

Invitations are out and alterations are almost done (already had 2 of 3 fittings)! We’ve determined our lunch site and are just waiting on some more guests to confirm before planning that farther. :)

We’ve picked out our cake (cupcakes!!) vendor, hair/makeup, photographer, transport, music, officiant and of course site. We haven’t done so yet, but have to discuss what we want with the cupcake and hair/make up vendor. We are going to be working on lunch site next and florist as well. Still a lot of little stuff for us to do at home as well..alterations, invites, wedding bands, and more. I think we’ve made some great strides so far! :)

We finally selected a consultant to work with, and have been working out the details for the last couple of weeks. It’s been going pretty well :) We are doing a destination wedding,so there’s a lot that we are not able to be hands on with, but we are having fun with creating our save the dates and invites :)

I’ve been pretty stressed about this for a while now. We’re waiting on responses from potential ceremony locations and I was hoping for quicker responses. F is a little more relaxed about it, and I guess it’s only been a couple of days, but I would think that a rapid response would be more impressive to a potential customer.
sigh It will be ok.

We have been contacting vendors this week to find a location and book our date. :) Hoping to have the date locked in place soon.
