I never ever exercise. :( This needs to change.
1. I need to excercise my shouder (it hurts more lately).
2. Lose my spare tire.
3. Strengthen my heart and lungs.
These are the things I want to focus on right now. I shall begin tonight!



Started tracking my food today. 10 months ago

I am not eating well and there are a lot of calories!! My first poor area is the amount of water I take in. Today for instance I only took in 2 cups..yep. Some days I don’t have any. And the number of calories I took in today were over the daily amount by 1,ooo. :(
So, first, I’m going to try and increase my water intake.

I’ve joined SparkPeople now also fidgie. You’re right, there are a lot of “bells and whistles” that go with this site. I’m going to give it a go again and not give up this time!!!



Losing... 17 months ago

weight. I’m not sure if I’m measuring the correct spots, but I am measuring the same spots each time at least.
I lost 1/2” at my waist above the belly button and 1/4” at my waist below my belly button. (is this the correct location to call the waist?) Nothing else has changed yet, but I’m excited about that.
It’s going to take me a few months to make any drastic change I believe. I think it will take me another month just to be able to follow along with all of the exercises (maybe two) after that I think it will be another month or two where I can really enhance them and then add in weights after. So it’s going to be slow in progression, but I think that’s ok. :)



frustrating workout 17 months ago

This past Saturday and tonight, I had to do the same video, and both times I’ve been frustrated. There are some parts that are difficult to get the movements down -one I couldn’t get at all. So while I was a little sweaty, both times I didn’t really feel the “burn.” I suppose once I get it down, I’ll feel better about it. I also worry that I won’t be able to lose any weight based on my diet. I mean I have been trying to eat healthier, and my pop intake has gone down drastically, but I don’t know what foods are “good” to eat, to help nourish me, yet not add weight! Any suggestions?

(I am glad that I have stuck to the schedule though) :)

Ok, so I changed this from exercise daily to just “exercise”. I started a program called the firm. Two of my friends had used it and liked it so I thought I’d give it a try. We’ll see how it goes in the next couple of weeks!

Tuesday night- No exercise due to migraine
Wednesday night-partial exercise of what I started doing, as I still had a migraine
Thursday night- again partial exercise(not everything I had done in previous nights), except worked longer did more sets/reps on what I did do.
Feeling good about what I’ve done, hopefully have picked some good exercises and will see a difference from them!

Very excited about this goal. I know I’ll feel better by doing this ,but knowing that and doing that are two different things.
Anyway, I started last night! Yea! This is not an I need to lose weight because I’m overweight thing. I want to tone and strengthen and work on aerobic exercise.
What I’m focusing on is
1. My shoulder-I have a winged right scapula- I am starting (again) the exercise’s that were prescribed to me about 7 years ago.
2. tighten my abdomen. (this is where the majority of my extra weight is)
3. tighten my thighs and butt.
4. stregthen my arms and legs.
5. work on my lungs and heart. I am winded easily.
So that’s it for now…I think the biking is helping with #5.
