Get a new job

I sent a resume to a friend to refer me to a position; so considering it sent.
Also, will be mailing a resume to a historical society tomorrow.
I would love to work at either place- the one would be really close to my house so that would be awesome; but crossing my fingers for either one!

I want to succeed with this goal before I reach 36 entries. It’s pretty depressing to me that I would have had to even get this far already. Here’s hoping it will not reach that far.

filled out an application for a ceramics place. I don’t think it will pay what I need, but maybe it will be an out and something creative for me. It would be p/t too so I could do other work around it.

I interviewed last Monday at the college. I thought it went well and that I would do well in the position. The people were friendly, and I know that one of the two interviewers was impressed with my resume -thought it fit the position well. TODAY when I got home from work I found the rejection letter waiting. Seriously, what do I do? I’m under/over qualified, or while my qualifications are great, someone else is better.

to a college. I have been looking a couple times a week to see if I can find something that sounds moderately interesting. I have been very frustrated because nothing peaks my interest (or if it does it is part time or pays way to little) and it all sounds like the same old dead end routes. I’m really interested in the college job though so hopefully it will be a positive outcome!!!!!!

from 4 weeks ago already! Didn’t get a call back- I”m assuming it was because it was pt and he knew I wanted ft.
I emailed another contact at a job I interviewed for a couple of months ago to follow up with my interest. I don’t know if I messed up on that one by not following up sooner, but I figured it can’t hurt to try/ask. We’ll see what happens.

I think the interview went ok. He said they have a couple of more people to call and then they’d be calling back for face to face interviews.
Also, turns out the job is only part time which was not noted in the posting( well slightly over part time.) which would be fine if it pays enough so I can make it work w/another job.

hoping for some good news for once.

because the person I was supposed to meet with didn’t meet with me. It was snow storming that day and I should have called to cancel because the weather was so foul. But no, I held up my appointment and was even on time! and the jerk didn’t have the decency to even talk to me when I was there! He had someone else interview me and then he pulled her outside and had her come back in to tell me that he would call if interested in a second interview. I wish I had the guts to have called him on how rude it was that if he didn’t have the time to meet with (especially considering the weather that day) that he should have rescheduled. What a surprise that he didn’t call for 2nd interview. Wow and what a bigger surprise that I didn’t follow up.
