I am continuing on the marathon/half-marathon training, but I’m only finding the time to run twice a week – a shorter run on Wednesdays and a longer run on Sundays. I really need to add two or three more running days to my week, but I’m having a lot of trouble finding the time. Perhaps once school starts I’ll be able to have a more regular schedule.

This goal fits right in with my marathon/half marathon goal, so so at least until the race, my progress on this goal should be pretty steady. I noticed that some people are posting their stats. I’m using the running log on www.coolrunning.com to chart my progress. You can record weather, add notes, tell it routes, etc. It will calculate your pace and keep weekly, monthly, and yearly totals. Although I’ve just been using it for running, it will also keep stats on any number of activities you enter. Sorry if this sounds like a little commercial – I don’t work for them or anything. I just love the site. Since there are no reasonable gyms where I live (Japan), running’s pretty much it for me, so I like neat tools that make running exciting. Also, perhaps this is a long note as to why I might not post my stats here.
