take better pictures

So I’ve been to camera class – eight hours all about the menus and features on the new camera – but I haven’t had a real oportunity to go out and shoot. I’m off to the (predicted sunny) mountains this weekend, so I hope to come back with some good action shots and some good landscape shots.

Well, I’ve gotten a new camera, AND enrolled myself in a photogrpahy class, so there’s no excuse for bad pictures now.

Well, I took the picture that is beside my name. I’m actually rather proud of that! But I’d still like to improve my technique. I’d love to buy a better camera, maybe a Nikon D70, but I think that goal will have to wait.
