I’m using the definition of meekness as “gently moving people in constructive and redemptive ways” ...This means being influential in people’s lives without being overpowering. It also incorporates being humble and positive, moving people toward goodness.
I have always tried to be this way, but it’s something that I need to constantly remind myself of. Today, in chastising someone, I fell short of meekness. I know that I have the potential to be harsh or critical toward other people, but I want to take the higher road and act in kindness and meekness always.
