Finish reading all the books I own before reading new ones

I’m almost ready to give up on this goal, but I really want to say that I have read every book I own. I haven’t bought any new books yet, but I have been to the library. Would it be cheating if I bought one of the books after completing it? I really wouldn’t mind adding it to my collection.
I am afraid that it could take longer than a year for me to finish reading those 80-some books. I don’t think I can go a full year without buying a book. This is definitely testing my book addiction.

I’ve made a list on paper. I have approximately 80 books to read. This might take a year to get through. Well, at least I’ll save some money… or start frequenting the library.
