making the mix

I want to leave a mix CD for someone to find.
I’m just not sure what kind of theme to give this mix. Should I go with inspirational and upbeat? Melancholy and true? Or a mix of the two? I was thinking about picking songs that that have defined me at some point in my life and then the person that finds it would know a little bit about who I am. But then, I don’t really want this mix to be about me. I want it to be about the person that finds it.
I know that I would be pretty excited if I found a mix CD and realised that someone had left it there for the shear purpose of being found. And I would really hope that I liked the music. I’m not a huge rap fan, but if the mix had a story to tell, I would listen to it and love it.
