My friend and running inspiration came to visit me this weekend, gave me an amazing book on women and running, and made me promise we would do a marathon together when I got back from the Peace Corps. I’m all in!
The good thing is, I found a program for training for beginners…and even if I stretch out what they have listed as a week to three weeks on every step…I would still have a year after completing it to work on speed. Maybe then she won’t have to slow down so much for me!
