I’m not of the opinion that anyone should spend 10 hours a week working out. That type of dedication to health seems obsessive compulsive. If you do the math, you’re wasting one waking day a week just to stay healthy. A seventh of your life. I’d rather die 10-15 years earlier than waste that much time doing something I don’t much enjoy.
My idea of health is pretty basic. Maintain my weight below 175, do my daily pushups, situps, pullups, and bike twice a week. All of that takes me about 2 hours a week. If I can keep that up, I’ll be where I want to be.
