I’m compiling a list of songs that I’m going to learn to sing and play off by heart. I’m aiming to have about ten songs. As a side effect, I’m also learning some new guitar chords. The idea is to have a handful of songs I can sing any time I’ve got my guitar and use as a warm-up before singing and writing my own songs. I’m choosing songs I love to sing above all else – most of them nobody else will have heard of.
