Help my mom recover from her surgeries

Five surgeries in 15 months.

Her left wrist fusion is postponed until May. She has to have another neck surgery… NEXT Monday. I told her I am going to teach myself to knit while she is in surgery and knit us both scarf hats. She told me to start with mine because she may not need one. They want to put her on a new medicine for her RA. It’s an injection and some people have died within 24 hours of receiving the first dose. :(

The third surgery went well. Wasn’t sure what to expect. The doctor had to fuse the fingers & thumb on her right hand. He told me, “She did it again, left him nothing to work with.”

...is scheduled for the end of October.

It helps her fall asleep. I put some on a cotton round and place it by her pillow.

what a devastating disease. She had her second surgery on Tuesday. The next one is tentatively scheduled for November. I hate how some of the doctors act like SHE “left them nothing to work with.”
