I want to start drinking this. I have some friends who’re into it (and have been for years) so I’ve known about it for a long time.
I’m really interested to give it a go as part of my lifestyle. I know it tastes weird- of grass(!)- but the fact that it is so, so good for you completely out-weighs any misgivings I may have about how it tastes.
The chemical structure of wheatgrass (or rather, the chlorophyll in it) is a fraction off from haemoglobin apparently, so you can imagine how fantastic it must be for our bloodcells! Not to mention everything else it helps.
I think a shot or 2 of this wheatgrass juice a day is perfect for people who’re on the go and don’t have the time or maybe money to eat leafy green salads all the time or lots of veg in general.
Anyways, I’m gonna see how I go with it but I think it’s probably well worth anyone trying it out! You’ve got nothing to lose right? I certainly wouldn’t mind a natural boost of energy every afternoon!
This document that I found on Google provides an easy to read and understand guide to Wheatgrass and puts forwards some things that I wouldn’t have thought of, for example, you should drink it on an empty stomach if you want to detox so it can be absorbed faster but then the problem with this is that you may feel nausious- but I guess that just means it’s working!?
