In shifting our bedroom downstairs, it was necessary to move a bookshelf, and thus, move books. While I was at it, I weeded a large chunk of them and began to group/organize them. I’m actually making a lot of progress on this goal this month.

I changed the goal title back since I did another large shelf. Too much progress to ignore. Now we need to get the weeded books out of the house and over to the library for their booksale. (I’d sell them, or try, at the Book Barn, but for goodness sake, if I try to do that, the books will ride around in the back of the car for another 12 months and then maybe they won’t take them.)
I organized and weeded the books in the kids’ room on Friday.
Folded, put away and restarted laundry.
Walking the dog outside, I looked in the window and had the distinct impression that the room was a hoarder’s haven.
So I went inside and ditched some of the artwork from my children. Broke down about 6 empty and nearly empty boxes. Crammed some things into the closet (which totally does not count as the room since it doesn’t impede getting across the room.
I’m now better able to see the problems. Maybe after I vacuum tomorrow I can clear out a few other things…
