Ok, I’m not talking about Dr. Seuss here. A full-fledged adult novel. Every time I pick out a book at the library, I dream of diving right in and finishing it that very day. Then life takes over and I’m forced to spread it out over a 2-week period. No fun!
Tomorrow I have a chance to accomplish this due to my son having a tonsillectomy. I’m going to be at the hospital most of the day and even though I’m in the middle of a current book, I’m taking along another just in case. Maybe I should just start that one and then my goal would be achieved!

Mackinac, that is. I’ve been there on two separate occasions with the older two (class field trips), but Little One really wants to go and of course, the others can’t wait to go back. Why not shoot for the fall, when leaves will be turning and prices will be dropping? Yes. I’m sure the fudge will taste just as good. Mmmmmmmmmm.

I simply love this city! Have already been there in the fall and late winter so I think it’s time to see it in the summer!
I have yet to visit the Field Museum and the Art Institute, so that will be at the top of my list.

I’ve done a moonlit hike before in the winter but really want to do this during the daytime (and without requiring a snowsuit). They say the view is spectacular!
Isn’t it crazy? I’ve lived up here for 16 years and have never done this!

Maybe I will have to come up with a bunch of things that are easily attainable….like eat chocolate for breakfast. Yeah, that sounds good.
