well, i am down ten pounds from when i added this goal just from being more conscious about what i eat, and walking when i have time (maybe 2-3 times per week). granted it’s been several months, but such a surprise to see the weight coming off.
in march i’m starting a tougher regimen of eating and exercise, so i plan to spend february getting myself ready for those changes. here we go…

argh! i have gained a bit and now i have about 24 lbs. to go. but i WILL get back on track. tomorrow is a new day and i can do this… i am determined to!

to lose 35 pounds by may 1st (the end of this semester). although it may sound unrealistic, it is a bit misleading as i have already lost 16.5 pounds. Only 18.5 pounds to go—i feel that is definitely within reach in the next five months. i will be doing weight watchers, so balanced and calculated eating and a stepped up exercise plan should do the trick!
but if i make this my challenge… what should my consequence be. any suggestions? :P

i’ve lost 12 in the past four weeks just from monitoring what i eat, and making sure i get lots of protein rather than empty carbs. i feel so much better, but the past few days i have sabotaged myself and my plan… gotta try to get back on track!
