get out of debt

wowser! I got a nice bonus at work and put it ALL onto debt repayments. Ouch! Do you know how much strength that took?!!

great motivation though to realise how great things will be when I don’t have any debt repayments and all those bonuses are mine to keep!! YAY!

GOING OK! I paid down my major loan, it’s now under $1000 (from 10k, a couple of years ago) WOOHOO!

I paid off my carshare debt this year.
I have some savings.
I have a plan.
I am happy : )

because i get to put some more $$$ towards paying off debt. can you just imagine when all that money is mine to use on anything but debt, haha!

I am very excited today because I got a bonus at work, and although i nearly cried doing it, I put it all towards my debt. I put half of it towards my loan, and half towards the credit card.

Sux to think I got myself into this mess but OH MY GOD my loan is now under $2000 to pay back (it started at 10k years ago), so I can see the home stretch. Hooray!!!!

but i’m still moving along. and every time my debt gets under the next thousand mark, i get such a good feeling. it really keeps me going.

i get what dave ramsey is talking about. and i like it :)

i’ve been putting good chunks onto my debts and TA DA, they’re all coming down and i can really see progress.

pretty excited i’ve just completed baby step 1 of the dave ramsey plan – have a $1000 emergency fund.

...not where i wanted to be. inspiring to know that i have indeed paid off over 2 grand, but by now i was hoping to have paid off over 4 grand at least.

so gonna step this up. feeling positive tho with what i’ve achieved.
