Grow my hair long (again)

getting used to the shorter locks. Probably still going to grow it out though, maybe not back down to my waist, but the desired ‘boob’ length that I originally wanted!! lol. Everyone else seems to like it so I’ve stopped feeling like I’ve lost my identity or something.

I took a photo of my hair from the back so I can guage how it’s grown by christmas….you never notice it much in the first three months and then suddenly you realise ‘wow its grown!’ but you can’t guage by how much. we’ll see. kirby grips are my new best friends!!! lol.

..did i do it? i’ve been wanting to get a few inches off my nearly-waist-length hair for ages cos it was getting all dry and scratty. yesterday i woke up and thought ‘yeah i’ll go get it cut today before going on holiday in two weeks and am out for a friends birthday tonight so it’ll be fun!’. i thought i needed a change, like maybe ‘boob-length’ with funky layers in….like ive had it before and it looked really nice. WRONG!!

hairdresser went scissor-happy with my suggestion and now the longest layer is JUST below my shoulders, shortest is way up kinda eyebrow height!! what was i thinking!!!! i mean, it actually looks nice but i feel somewhat traumatised. I’ve never had it this short since i was like 5!! woke up this morning crying, how stupid, it’ll grow. hopefully by christmas it’ll be just a little longer and looking more like me again. i don’t feel like me, whats going on??!!
