potty train my daughter

My little 3 year old daughter is a perfectionist. She won’t sit on the potty because she says she can’t do it yet. We’re only giving her positive feedback for trying, but she’s not buying it. It’s hard to give her successes because she only goes a couple times a day and there is no “schedule” to it. When she poops we know when it’s coming but she won’t even let us talk to her during it much less put her on a potty. She’s so smart, but just prefers diapers she tells us! We’ve laid off for a long time not wanting to rush her, but are going to have to start a slow approach again this new year!
