Current balance is around 25K I think. I just sent in a 5K payment though, so next week this will be down to 20K. At this rate, these should be paid off by April of next year. I can’t wait!

Wow I haven’t updated this is forever! Current balance is around 34K so I am making good progress. I have deprioritzed this in favor of paying off some other debt, but when those are gone I will attack this!
I am now at 43K left on my student loans. Still so high! I decided to change my payments back to the minimum since the interest rate is so low on them. I am investing the extra into the market instead. It still bugs me at times that I have this large debt, but the rate in the market is a lot better so I am going to try to relax and just pay the minimum!
Current balance is 45K. I changed my monthly payment to $700 a month (an increase of $100 per month). My goal is to increase this another $100 per month in 2010. I want these paid off!
Current balance is 49K. I am trying to pay off around 800 per month. I was going to do more, but the current state of the economy has me scared and I want to conserve cash.
I currently owe 51K on my grad student loans. I think the beginning balance was 62K so I am doing well so far. My spreadsheet says they should be paid off in about 5.5 years (Feb 2013). I am shooting for that or earlier.
