have a net worth of 100K

51K in my 401K which means I have now achieved all 3 mini goals.

My goals for next year are a bit more complex. I will be paying for a wedding and putting a downpayment on a house.

Mini goal 1: Have 100K net worth
Mini goal 2: Have 15K in savings after the house purchase is done
Mini goal 3: Max out my 401K contribution

Current net worth = 63,170

Mini goals:
Have 20K in Etrade account – Done
Have 50K in retirement – Currently at 48,792 !!!
Have 5K in Amex Savings account – Done

Wow, the 100K mark might not be too far out of my grasp. I orginally estimated I would get there March 2013, now I think it will easily happen in 2012.

Total net worth = 48,839 so I will easily make 50K by the end of the year (as long as the market cooperates).

Total net worth = 42,134 so I am definitely on track for 50K by the end of the year.

The market has been taking a beating lately so some of my accounts aren’t growing as quickly as I would like but I am still on track. I think I can achieve these mini goals by the end of the year. Right now I am at:

Retirement: 37,377
Amex: 2,905

I thought it would be a good idea to set a smaller goal on this one so that I can see my progress better. Currently my net worth is around 36K. My short term goals are to:

Have 20K in Etrade account
Have 50K in retirement
Have 5K in Amex Savings account
Continuing paying down car/student loan

I might be able to get to 50K net worth by the end of the year, that would be awesome!

I am currently at a net worth of 28K. I currently save around 1500-2000 a month, so this goal may take a while! At that rate it will take me around 3 years. I will make an effort to update this once a month so I can see my progress and be motivated to stay on track!
