....I ran the NY marathon 4 times, but it’s been quite a few years. The reason I’m focusing on the 10k is that, for my goals, it’s more appropriate. 45 minutes will be pretty rough, and I’m sure that just getting up to running 6 miles will be tough enough. Luckily, Central Park in NYC is about 10k around, so that will make it easier to plan around.
The fact my 11yo daughter ran her first 10K (in 1:05) last month is a prime motivation!
