both my son and I became members tonight. Now to keep going to meetings and practice, practice, practice!

I gave them my application tonight

and while at the meeting, I got a table topics question. I won for best table topics of the evening. That was fun! (and a bit surprising)

just found

a new group here in the area that has convenient meeting times for me. I sent them an email and am awaiting a reply. It seems they have special membership requirements. Oh, I do hope I can join their group. It’d be fun and educational for me! And their meetings times are great for me (though I mentioned that already).

Perhaps I need some positive thoughts to help me get accepted into this new group.

joining toastmasters...

has been on my mind for quite a while, but I just don’t see how I can fit it into my schedule. The only meeting time here for toastmasters is Tuesdays at noon. That’d be pretty hard for me to fit into the schedule.
