I visted the Toastmasters club in El Centro, CA, together with our area governor today. It was a fun and friendly club! So glad I got to meet them and enjoy their meeting.

My son opened a facebook account for me last night. I do hope it will be fulfilling and a good way to keep in touch with friends.

This is the first time I’ve helped out with a speechcraft, and I’m very glad that I did. It’s fun to teach others.

TM club contest for Tabletopics, and I won. I tried this because it was something new and kind of scary.

we built (they did most of the work) a door to our little garage. It’s fabulous! I’m thrilled that we turned an old shed full of junk into a perfect little garage for my car. The door is great!

For the first time, I went to a Toastmasters meeting entirely in Danish. I was so scared most of the time that I’d have to talk in Danish. Thankfully, all I had to do was introduce myself. I did understand almost everything, and that felt good. I surprised myself by how well I could understand Danish. Though I’m not ready yet to say much in Danish. This was all the idea of my teenage son, who has been learning Danish this summer by watching Danish TV shows.

was new and fullfilling, especially with regards to the ballet at the Mariinsky Theater. It was fabulous! Spending two days looking at art with my son at The Hermitage was also inspiring! So glad I got to go to St Petersburg with my oldest son for a vacation.

the first time I saw a breakdance show, and it was extra fun because 2 of my sons were in it. I certainly learned alot about breakdancing yesterday. It probably won’t be the last breakdance show I watch either, since my sons already have plans to go watch the Scandinavian championships in about a month, and I think it’s be fun to go with them.
