get a scholarship

So, my admissions counselor called last night with what he said was , “mixed news”. He said that i was a finalist for one out of the three scholarships. To me, this was amazing news ( idk why he thought it was mixed!) I’m thrilled to get anything! So i’m going down to the college in mid january for a fun filled weekend of interviews and banquets. The even better news is, that even if i do not win the scholarship, i will recieve a 4,000 dollar scholarship just for being invited for an interview! I am sooo excited, and i already have all of my interview outfits picked out :)

My college called last night, they said i should hear if i won one of the scholarships before new years. If i am a finalist for any of the three scholarships i will have to go do an interview aroun january 16th. The admissions counciler told me that it will be very short notice and that he hoped i wouldn’t be too stressed about the interview. Maybe i’m looking too much into this statement, but this seemed like a good sign from him-but then again he might say that to all of the candidates!

I applied for three scholarships at the school I’m going to next year…so now I’m just waiting (with crossed fingers) to find out if i got it!
