quit taking life so friggin seriously

Fell hard straight on my nose tonight, when drunk(skate)boarding. Resulted in a lot of noseblood and a couple of bruises.

It’s hard when you wouldn’t mind dying. It sounds so cruel, but it’s just how I feel at times.

One of the funniest and most unserious moments of my life was when I met my ex (wasn’t dating yet at the time) and some of his flat-mates at a bar where local musicians came to the stage to show their work. We were just going to take a couple of beers. Which, this might not come as a surprise to you, ended up in a countless number of beers and drinks. I actually didn’t drink as much as the rest, so I remember everything clearely.

We started talking about making a band. With none of us having any musical talents, we found this extremely funny. We found out the name, a sort of worm, and that our trademark would be the Batman themesong (from the tv-series). Later at night, when I came back from ordering another beer I suddenly heard my name being shouted from the stage. And then everyone started applauding. It were my “new mates”, who had found out they were to realize our dream. LOL. I was really frightened, regreted that I hadn’t drank enough, but still went. After all I was the drummer. So we started. Surprisingly, it had similiar sounds of the batman song, if you listen really closely, but mostly it was tragic. We had one guitarist, one drummer, and to vocalist, who mainly were shouting “dudududududududududududududududu, Baaaaaaaatmaaaaaaan!” When we were done, it was all quiet. 50-100 people were standing there looking at us if as we where idiots. They were serious musicians, and I don’t know what we expected. But it was real fun, and me having stage fright, it made it even more exiting. It can be so joyful just making a total fool of yourself sometimes.

I always smile when I think of this episode. :)

I should tattoo this on my body. It’s so hard to remember!
