Read The Lord of The Rings

so the books arrived and they’re sitting on my bookshelf in their box (which, annoyingly is falling apart even though it hasn’t done anything apart from sit there.)

hopefully i’m going to get around to reading them soon, but i have so many other books to read first. it’s good to have them there, ready to read though. it makes finishing them that bit closer!

today i bought the books from amazon. i was sitting in school on the computers in the library, looking up books on amazon, and i saw that there was a boxset for £13 so i bought it because i thought it was a good bargain! i think i will be more encouraged to read them when they arrive and i actually have them, as opposed to if i had to go to the library and borrow them.

i’ve actually taken the first book out of the library, but it’s sitting on my shelf and i haven’t touched it. i have my friend’s book she lent to me first to read and i’m kind of reluctant to start reading a series i know it’ll take me ages to get through right now ..
