I guess considering where I was intending to get to, I need to amend this to lose 30 pounds and keep it off!
I’ve put on weight over the last year instead of losing it, and I’m now getting to the point where I must do something about it.
I consider myself partly lucky that I haven’t put any on since last weighing in, and partly disappointed that it hasn’t gone down further yet. But considering the meatloaf followed by strawberries and double cream, I suppose I should stick to the lucky side!
I’m definitely eating more sensibly now, and it helps that others are all trying to do the same thing.
I’m recording my weight at the moment as 10 st 7 lb (147 lb). That’s down about 5 lb since I started eating more sensibly. I’m setting myself a target weight of losing about 20 lb, which will put me at just over 9st. That’s the recommended weight for my height.
I hate sticking to formal diets, but I’m trying to eat sensibly and cut out the snacking. So far it seems to be working – I’ve lost around 5 pounds since I started. Weighing myself the same time every day and writing the weight in my diary helps.
