Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

I feel better. :D
Truthfully I have been trying this more than 2 weeks, but as you see I always fail within 7 days but I can feel the difference. I have more energy in the morning as well. I have done so many things today already :D – in my avarage ways I wake up afternoon and eat even later and it makes my whole day fail…

I should write an entry each day.

It is for my health.
I have stopid eating habits and this is the first step to change them!

Great I dont even get up enough early to have breakfast since it is not examination period…

Oh I call my breakfast+lunch brunch but translated it to my language :D haha and its spreading – my will – be – judge friend took it and uses it :D I am soooo innovative, especially when it comes to words – hope I will be such like at genetics also … create and recreate haha

/one of my favs: "he helped me not too much nothing" he didnt even helped me but he made me confused about what I knew before, so it was less and worse than nothing as if he didnt even try to help me... my friends complained about this that there is nothing less than nothing.../

haha.. 5 days in a row, this is my record this year….:S
btw i am over my biophysics exam so i am more relieved by now even for eating…
before my final exam in high school – like SAT in USA- but it has to main parts: in May the written part: Monday: Literature and Grammar, Tuesday: Math Wednesday: History Thursday: English I had next week on Tuesday a biology and on Thursday chemistry…

And in June you have one day when you have verbal exams of all of them -exept math if not taken on higher level.

So before my verbal exams I ate a Nutella for 5 days – a Nutella never lasts here for 5 days… not to mention I havent eaten nothing else than… Pff…



mini novel about why I did not use to eat breakfast for yrs

Ok. I just have realized that I ate breakfast on Tuesday and today on Wednesday so I just need 5 more days to reach this goal :D

BTW I know breakfast is essential and I used to eat it every morning as a kid until my parents took me to school by car.

Unfortunatly later their job started on 9 and 10 – note here school and most jobs start at 8… so they did not carry my sister and me to school anymore so we had to go by bus.

And the bus was always so crowded and the streets are horrible here so I felt always bad like I needed to vomit and asked mom that I do not need to eat any breakfast. She was not happy but she put sandwiches to me- even we got food in school- but I rarely ate them. I changed it to basketball cards or other collectibles or gave it to a homeless man who used to be around the main square.

My mother lately figured it out and did not packed me extra food as she said it is too expensive to buy that salami and etc. I liked not to eat it – oh I only ate Pick salami those time :D:D I tried to tell her that I eat things only when they are fresh but not if they were packed for hours. But she states – still- that if I were hungry I would eat it…

Nowdays I cook them again :D My friend once offered me some lasagne but she did not have a microwave oven yet due to moving and I told her I hate micros use instead the oven- that will be much better! :D and sure it is much better from there. I totally hate micros, and the way they work is totally unhealthy i think…
