Ever seen a sheep dog collapse in long grass after a hard day chasing sheep around the hills? Tounge hanging out slobber all over it’s chin and big saggy eyes. I think that’s dog tired.
That not quite awake, not asleep thing happens a lot when I get insomnia, I’ll be lying in bed thinking I’m awake but be having a conversation with some one I haven’t seen for years or lives in another country. (It’s the same two people, my old flatmate and best friend from primary school who now lives in Prague) Niehter of them are ever in the room with me but I regain concoiusness convinced they were there. Also falling half asleep while on a smoko break and realising I’ve been talking to myself in my sleeep and wonder if it’s outloud and workmates have heard the craziness of not quite conscious conversations.
