I’ve been lucky to be employed by a company that will pay for my education. Now trust me, I never in a gazillion years thought I’d wind up in insurance, but guess what? It doesn’t completely suck, and it’s not boring. I have time for my hobbies and my family. And lets not mention the benefits because guess what- I live in the US, I have chronic health conditions that require chronic treatment, and literally, I LIVE better with insurance. If you don’t know what it’s like to be drowning in snot for the formative years of your life…. you just have no idea. Otherwise, you do, and get what I’m saying.
But free education- isn’t totally free. I have to self study, and be self motivated, but that’s okay. I’ve passed two so far, and it would be a crowning glory at this point to pass one more on the first try before the end of the year, and only be TWO tests away from my Associates Degree in Insurance Services- the first stepping stone degree on the way to Underwriting.
So I challenge myself to pass this test, on my first try, the end of this year, putting 2008 that much brighter, in being the year I got my first degree. While my parents are still alive, and my Daddy can be proud. I can pass one more class before 2008.
~Much Love
