I slack off here and there, but mostly I’m sticking to it. I made a goal of making my bed every day for 21 days and earning a new comforter for my efforts.

I slack off here and there, but mostly I’m sticking to it. I made a goal of making my bed every day for 21 days and earning a new comforter for my efforts.
Wake up
Take meds, brush teeth, wash face
Make bed
Complete two sun salutations
Get dressed
Have coffee and breakfast
I’ve been trying out different stuff – and I’ve added a few things and cut a few things. I’m happy with this combo and have been sticking to it for a few weeks. It’s been working for me!
I’ve got make the bed, take the meds, get dressed, brush the teeth, drink the coffee. It’s been about a month and I’ve been really sticking to it and yes, it helps tremendously! Not just the organization and good immediate feeling, but I know it helps the mood and attitude in the long run.
I’m thinking about adding morning pages and something physical—a few push-ups or that good morning yoga pose. Or both, though not at the same time. I mean I’m not going to add both to the routine at the same time; I’ll add one and then the other if I want to do both.
