Visit Grandma

my grandmother is going to be another year older making her either 86 or 87, can’t remember. I’ve asked her to my house for dinner and asked my relatives/friends to come surprise her for this dinner should be fun!

looking forward to it. End of the month.

I dropped off my #1 child and my nephew tonight so they can spend time with her before the day of thanks and I saw her. So technically I visited. :-)

I should get better at this, really I should.

Had a great time with my grandmother for her birthday this April. She is 86 now. We took her to Dennys. My #2 loves her.

when we went to see her two weekends ago. She is so cute and lively! I love my grandmother. I am going to see her again this weekend when we all drive over to the blow out 1st birthday party for my niece. YEAH!

“Grandma? What’s the most important thing you would tell to young people?”

“Take care of your teeth.”

Seriously – she is a big proponent of tooth care so that your older life is much better, she didn’t take care of her teeth and now she has a lot of issues. She would suggest this to anyone at any age. I know – she does me!

my child visited her again for three nights – they all enjoyed each other very much – I am glad he is getting to spend time with his great grand mother!

and he loved it because he got to play video games (with his great grandmother!), eat good food and burn things (my grandmother apparently doesn’t like to shred things but burns them the old fashioned way!) Maybe I should bring my old journals to her for a burn!?

My son stayed with her for 3 nights and four days and he LOVED it.
