Finish my website

it’s summer, and i finally have time again. so maybe i’ll actually work on the website. it needs quite a bit of work.

I LOVE BREAKTHROUGHS.

all i had to do was close the scipts. aghhh.

more trial and error. i still don’t have a working contact form due to the lack of php support. i’m trying to figure out a css photo gallery that won’t make a separate page for each image, but i can’t crack it. so i’ve diverted my attention to writing a feature for the site. something NOT related to html. because i need to.

at least the site looks pretty.

so i decided i needed a header and footer that would be universal, because it would make my life so much easier (and my pages cleaner). at first i thought i had to use php for this, which caused me to freak out because i know nothing about php, but then i was informed that my server can’t handle php. so i did a quick google search and found a REALLY EASY javascript that can do what i was wanting. sometimes… i’m dumb.

i found an AMAZING free program called html kit, and it lets you edit and save directly to the ftp server. that was my only fear about this website, and now it’s solved! plus, it has a ton of awesome features, like colorized tags and the ability to change the font that you edit in. so much fun! now it’s time to get some CONTENT going.

for real this time, the website EXISTS. only the index and credit pages are built thus far, but it’s a great improvement. i feel excited.

i bailed on the old, from-scratch layout. i found the most amazing site that offers free templates, and YOU CAN ALTER THEM, which is muy importante to me. so i’m in the process of altering one to the point of awesomeness. it involves a swimming pool.

aha! my friend finally got around to setting me up! no actual layout yet, but still:

i’m working on a sweet-ass layout for it right now. i fear, however, that i am going to fail on my image flips. i know i’ve tried it before, and there’s something weird about having more than one image flip on a page, if i remember correctly…

my friend hasn’t set up the subdomain yet, but i still am already thinking about the layout. i have something in mind.
