I work hard at my part time jobs. All of them. Hope it shows!

I had an informal interview a while ago regarding future temp work for a very interesting employer. Might turn into something, or not. I will apply for all upcoming positions and then we´ll see.

I also have a “real” interview coming up for one of the jobs I’ve applied for. They will interview a whole bunch of applicants, so it’s still a long shot. But a good sign, I think, that my cv and cover letter caught their eyes in such strong competition (there where close to 100 applications).

I got another part time temp job today – I now have four different jobs which is hard work! Three of these jobs are brand new, related to my field, but temporary. One, my old job, is totally unrelated to my field of education, but a steady income. I think it might be time to quit the old job to focus 100% on my new career. It’s a bit risky – I have enough work now, but in january? Who knows. Still, sooner or later I’ll have to jump…

Unfortunately, I had to turn down an interesting part-time job opportunity because of my other two, new part-time jobs. But I also had an interview for another part-time job that might be possible to squeeze in my schedule.

I’m glad for all these opportunities, but I realize I will soon have to aim for something more permanent or I will go crazy nuts. Or at least specialize, because the jobs I have now are completely different.

There will be so much to learn at each of these new work places and I will have so little time to learn it, and hopefully, deliver, before I go on to the next place.
