Will I ever get to do this? 16 months ago

I love horseback riding.
I invite the opportunity into my life experience.

However, when it comes right down to it, there are no stables around here, so I would have to drive into Phoenix. The stables there are situated around South Mountain and it’s HOT there and there is no shade. It’s not like a nice trail ride in the forest or along a beach somewhere. It’s just in the desert and the horses are hot and there are flies all around. And bees. AND it’s really expensive.

But I still want to do it.
Because I love horseback riding.

Time and Money... 2 years ago

I have only been on three horses in my entire life. Been BEHIND a few others, but that is another story. Heh, heh.
Anyway… I love spending time with animals, and although walking around the zoo is good exercise, I really long “get back in the saddle.”
My sister-in-law died recently, and her long-time horse companion, Honeybuck, was the first horse I ever rode. I’ve gone trailriding a couple of times and really enjoyed it, but I’d like to make horseback riding a regular part of my life.
Now I just have to find the time and money to go more often.
