Here as we draw near to the end of 2008, was it a pivotal year?
The New Year is my favorite celebration. To me it is a time to reflect. How did I do this year? Did I follow through with what I said I would? Could I have done better? How? What were my major accomplishments? How much more did I do that I never imagined or planned? What about all of those things?
Pat myself on the back a few times.
Well, then what am I going to do with those results for the next year? What do I want to do? Where do I want to go? In what direction do I want my path to take me?
I then create that new list to move forward to a new wonder of a year.
I am pretty much done with the list of this year. I did not accomplish everything that I wanted to accomplish but some of the things that I did do, were amazing, phenomenal and life changing. Even though this economy is not looking so great, my job is not the most secure and we are heading inot some rough times, I feel optimistic and positive about my life.
Things will be okay.

It has been rough trying to attend class on wednesday nights. I am exhausted and have a lot of pressure to finish homework and reading during the days that I am working. As much as I have loved this class, I am feeling a little overwhelmed. I look forward to a break. I look forward to Dec 10 and the end of class.

I am so glad that I was able to use a life coach again this year. She helped with a lot of things.I talk to her every three weeks or so.
I am thrilled that IBM offers a great program for mental health and I can see a therapist for only $15 a week. I have burdened my friends and family less with my complaining about Gary and other annoyances.
I am thrilled that I have been able to use the IBM Moneys Smart program and get freee financial advice. They are currently helping me use my budget more effectively and chose the right insurance for me and my family, how to make the right taxes choices and offer retirement planning advice.
They have also offered me a great book club for mentoring and a womens interest network group to help me grow as a person.
I also have access to a weight loss coahc adn computer program to motivate me inthat area as well.
It feels like everything is covered. I am thinking about making another bulletin board like my Clean sweep board but this one concentrates more on life management.
I just need to be a little more motivated. OI find that I don’t allow myself to have a lot of fun. I don’t know how to play very well. I think that if I was a litte more motivated with all the things I did that once they were completed I would allow myself more time to have fun.

four of the twelve goals I have listed here will be completed by the end of 2008 and some of the ones that I have already checked off were monumental so I am on my way to completing this one as well.
Yah!
I think that is why I love the New Year so much. It is my time to reflect on all that I hvae done in the past year and make new plans for the coming year. Some are big and some are little but they always make me feel accomplished when all is said and done. This is a great year so far.

so I got my mototrcycle license this past weekend. That was one of the things that would make this year a pivotal year. I also have a court date this week for my bankruptcy and that should take care of another issue. I am now going to work on the “Body for Life ” program.
