read all the books I own but haven't read

I keep telling myself that I have plenty of books.
But the books in the shops call out to me, they beg to be purchased… so, I still have a heap. I do love to read though…

I have bought more books since I adopted this goal.
And I have asked for more for my birthday.
I should not be allowed to enter a bookshop, until I have finished all the books I have (a bit like the no dessert until you finish your dinner policy…)

I do love books…

But I estimate that there are at least 10 works of fiction here, just waiting for me to read them. There are also lots of unread non-fiction books, but I am not making myself read those (imaging reading the dictionary, anatomy textbooks…)

I recently finished “Dead Famous” by Ben Elton. It’s a funny detective story, set in a ‘big brother’ type house. I really enjoyed it, but it’s not the kind of book I can see myself reading again, so I have listed it on ebay.
