send postcards to people who don't expect them

I been a little behind on this goal. But I sent three postcards over the last few days.

My favorite was…
It’s Happy Bunny by Jim Benton…...postcards. I sent Zach, my son who just went off to college a card that had a silly bunny and it said “Someone smells like doody”...... I don’t know why it reminded me of him. :)

I hope it makes him smile.

I am transferring from a job I have been at for over 18 years to a new location. Today is my last day there. :(

I bought an address book and took it yesterday. I getting addresses and email address from friends and co-workers so I can surprise them with post cards and greetings.

... but I never knew how hard it would be to find cool post cards. Or any post cards for that matter. I found some touristy ones and my local Walgreens. I have been looking about everywhere I go and cannot seem to find any. I found some postcard books like I bought several months ago at Half price books, but nothing with any kind of selection.

Anyone have any ideas????

OK, this is not really sending postcards to people you don’t expect them, but it is still kinda cool.
I sent out 5 post cards to Russia, Finland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, & Germany. I really look forward to hearing back from them.

As I was going thru cards and postcards that I have…..I found some post cards I should have sent in April while I was in California on vacation. (they were already written on & addressed) :(
I put a note on the bottom of the one to my best friend….she knows how bad of a procrastinator I am…...she will laugh when she finally receives it. I mailed it today.

I bought 2 books of postcards. One is flowers, and one is artwork by Monet. Now I just need to get some of my friends and family’s addresses. Yes, I should already have that, but i don’t. But I will get them…...

Does it count that I have bought some post cards? Now I just need to get some addresses….......

This could also count for making 1 person a day smile. I am always buying cute post cards, but I rarely mail them, (unless I’m on vacation). Maybe one day a week I need to plan on sending out one post card. But then I also need to get some addresses and get a good address book….....
