be a good person

Last week I made the 2 cakes for my nieces 1st birthday. A couple of days ago her mum bought me 12 stunning red grand prix roses one for every month of my nieces life as a thankyou for the help I have given her. This being nice thing works and makes you feel good about yourself.
Yesterday I set up a surprise for my other half. He is just starting a second degree in psychiatry so has just invested in a nice new laptop. I secretly went out and boght a desk, intrays,pens, paper, staplers, binders etc and set him up a whole office in one of our spare bedrooms so he can settle in and start his work and not take over the dining table with all his stuff!!
It was an simple thing to do but it just made it so much easier for him and he was so happy….I like being nice!! :-)

Started a collection today for a work colleagues 50th birthday. Will be a nice surprise to get him a card and gift from everybody.

Bought the papers for everyone to read at work this morning…tough job but someone has to do it!!!

Took a victoria sponge cake in..homemade!!!

I am going to try and be more considerate of others.

Baked a cake today and took it round to my parents for a treat.

Paid for the car behind me to pass through a toll booth, although the occupants looked amazed at it and bought a parking ticket with more time than I needed and passed it on when i had finished in town.

I hate hearing people speak of others in a bad way. Sometimes I am guilty of it and I am going to stop. Full Stop.
