Make new friends

It’s been really difficult making new friends. There aren’t any younger people at the job I work at and a lot of my friends are not home this summer. But I have been keeping closer with two of my friends that do live by, so that’s a plus. I also am being more open to people. I was at my friend’s party the other day, and I wasn’t too nervous about making conversation or anything, which is a pretty good improvement. This Fall semester in Niger should be a really great opportunity to make some freindships.

I really want to make different types of friends who I have more common interests with. Where to find them…? I am weird when I first meet people, and have a hard time maintaining friendships and aquaintances. This one is a challenge.
