Yeah! I got lots of cool baking stuff for Christmas: cookie sheet, a cooling rack, measuring cups and spoons, muffin tins, cake pans, and a fab French rolling pin.
I did make ONE batch of Christmas cookies…candy cane cookies! I did everything right and they tasted okay, but I think there are far better cookies out there waiting to be baked…
My boyfriend is a chef, but he steers clear from baking and sweets, etc. so that could be my area of expertise without having to compete with a real chef! Christmas cookie experiment may be a good place to start…
