Hire a wedding planner: check!

Great! now I have a wedding planner and an officiant. Still need a ceremony site, music, transportation, flowers, and favors but thats what the wedding planner is for right?

Spent some time wedding planning in NC last week. So far I have a reception site, catering, a cake, a photographer (as soon as I get the deposit in), linens. An officiant, wedding planner, and ceremony site are all in the works. Still lots left to do but at least we are moving in the right direction.

I’m flying to NC this weekend so I can spend all next week trying to figure out the major stuff for the wedding… hopefully I can get some stuff done!

Ok so we set a date a couple months ago for Oct 13, 2007. Time is ticking away. So far all I have done is that we have decided the date and have decided to get married in NC at my grandparents house (if i ever get around to asking them) We have bought the plane tickets to NC and to our honeymoon in NYC (and booked a hotel)... so basically the honeymoon is set but no details on the wedding.. I am flying to NC in May to get some of the stuff worked out… I really need to do this and soon!! haha

Been engaged since Nov 2005. We were thinking about having the wedding Oct 2007… I haven’t done a single thing.. granted I have over a year but it doesnt seem like im going to start planning any time soon.
