I listened to a few podcasts at the weekend though. I wish I could get French radio in my room.

I watched Amelie today. I had to read the subtitles as I couldn’t understand much, but sometimes I recognised words. The radio is easier to understand as they speak slower and more clearly. But it was nice to watch a film, I don’t do it often.
I’m listening to France Inter online. Yay! I can understand some of the words but have no idea what they are talking about.
I also did some research into French classes and found out about the DELF/DALF qualifications, they sound worthwhile.
I studied French for 7 years at school, it seems such a waste to forget it all. I think I’d pick it up quite quickly if I tried as I can still read in French, talking and writing is much harder. I’m going to start by finding a French radio station to listen to, hopefully the language will fall into my head without too huge an effort.
